This is a project-based course that tackles the field and laboratory methods that allow us to reconstruct environmental change. It focusses on the environmental changes of the Quaternary and particularly on those changes experienced by the Australian environment since the time of human contact. The course stresses the application of particular techniques to solving field problems and to answering palaeoenvironmental questions.
