The Spatial Science Research Project will provide students opportunity for research and in-depth inquiry in a spatial science topic of interest. It also allows students to further extend their knowledge of theoretical and conceptual material presented in other units within the degree. Students will be supervised by staff involved in teaching the Applied Science (Spatial Information Science) program and will be required to submit a 15,000 word thesis. The Unit of Study will enable students to specialise in a selected field of spatial science and provide research experience required for the pursuit of a research higher degree.
