Research Interests

MSc title: Canary Current upwelling, climate change and fisheries

Edwina’s main area of research is in the field of marine science with a focus on climate change. She is currently completing a Master of Science, focussing her research upon investigating the effect of global warming on upwelling and the effect of the physical changes on primary productivity and fisheries. She is also interested in geographic information systems for the management and visualisation of marine data .

Edwina recently joined the teaching staff and is lecturing in environmental sciences on past and future climate change. She is also working in the University of Sydney Institute of Marine Science (USIMS) coordinating and promoting the diverse range of marine science activities and interdisciplinary research within the university and externally.
